New Vega Tablet running Android 2.0, NVIDIA Tegra coming in 2010

The power of Android is that it is a platform built to run on multiple types of devices, not just smartphones.  We’ve been wondering when we would see a full on Tablet PC running Android, and it doesn’t look like we’ll have to wait much longer. The boys at Gizmodo scooped a fresh new series of tablets by manufacturer Innovative Converged Devices (ICD) that look absolutely stunning. ICD says their tables will be powered by the much hyped NVIDIA Tegra chipset (graphics powerhouse), and come in 7″, 11″, and 15″ sizes.

The Spec Sheet for the 15″-er (because we know that’s what you all want) shows:

Android 2.0 Eclair, 373mm x 254mm x 16mm 15.6″ Touchscreen, NVIDIA Tegra, 512 DDR / 512 NAND, 1.3 MP Web Cam, Micro SD, Bluetooth 2.1, Wireless 802.11 b/g, USB 2.0, 2g/3g Data, Cellular, 3.5mm Audio Jack, Magnetic Docking, Tablet/Dock Charging, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor,  Dual digital microphones.

Which carrier(s) will offer these devices have yet to be announced, but the Tablets are said to be lower-priced, so it sounds like ICD will have some great options for those looking for larger-screen portability.  More images of this beauty after the break!
