Acer Liquid £349.00 on Amazon

Like some before them, Acer has come forth and said that they will be putting more focus on Android. In my initial post last week which states that Acer would pump out at least 10 new phone’s next year, with the balance falling equally between Android and Windows Mobile. Surely this must be another blow to Windows Mobile as currently Acer has 10 handsets, and 9 of those said handsets currently run and operate on Windows Mobile. Good news for Android lovers though who were expecting big things from the Acer Liquid the first announced phone to have a 1GHz Snapdragon processor, but were then let down that Acer decided to underclock the chip for reasons still unknown. I for one was a fan of the device but still havn’t had a glimpse of it. I’m guessing that even though it has been said that the balance will be shared equally, it is still a blow to Windows as they dominated with their mobile OS within the Acer mobile product range. Motorola has dumped WinMo, and Samsung was rumoured to be putting them on the back burner also. Good news, Android is here for the long run. Currently on sale via Amazon is the A1 Liquid which is SIM free and will run you £349.00. It comes in the white colour.
