Fresh Leak: HTC’s Q1 2010 Android handset lineup emerges

Sunday’s are a great day, and today is no exception.  A little birdie named B3ler3fonte got their hands on HTC’s Android lineup for Q1-Q2 2010, and we’ve got all the juicy juice an Android lover could want.  We’ve been patiently waiting to see what HTC’s been cooking up in the lab, and with 5 upcoming devices, it looks like the company isn’t going to disappoint.

HTC is really coming into it’s own in terms of its Brand and in regards to it’s marketing efforts.  It appears that the design teams have been hard at work on both the hardware and promo material alike, and it looks like the company will be using the following categories to promote their new wares:  Design / Lifestyle, Social, Performance, and Productivity.

All the following images and spec sheets are said to be scans of internal documents, and the descriptions and bold emphasis are from the little birdie. That considered, they’re not super-easy to read and you’ll have to take them with a grain of salt, but we’re told that they’re the real deal so plot/scheme/drool away. Design / Lifestyle

HTC Legend
“Legend” is the ancestor of the most successful Android device, along with “Magic”, the “HTC Hero”. Offers an absolutely stylish look, covered with a metallic frame as you will see, slim with just 11.4mm, loaded with HTC Sense, and a central bottom clickable Optical Mouse for easy navigation like with Magic and Hero. Arriving March 2010.

HTC Salsa
“Salsa” is a BlackBerry-styled, Android handset, with just 8.6mm thickness, absolutely stylish, slimmest QWERTY keypad, distinctive “Edge” design, and great for social networking as it fully supports all well known Social Networking sites, Facebook, Twitter etc. It also supports IM capabilities and browsing firends photo albums via the pre-installed Flickr app. Arriving June 2010.

Social

HTC Tide
With “Tide”, user can enjoy the best of both a leading touch experience and a keypad. Like with the Salsa, it is great for social networking as it fully supports all well known Social Networking sites like Facebook, Twitter, Plurk etc., while also supporting IM capabilities and browsing firend’s photo albums via the pre-installed Flickr app. Arriving April 2010.

HTC Buzz
“Buzz” at first look seems like it will be the ancestor of HTC Tattoo, as it offers the capability of changeable back covers for those who love customizing their phones. It’s Android based has a huge 3.2″ sceen5MP Cam with Autofocus and Flash, awesome design, and it’s designed for applications and applications sharing. Arriving May 2010.

Performance

HTC Bravo

HTC’s hero model of Q1-Q2 of 2010, a real flagship with exceptional specs and characteristics, will be named the “HTC Bravo”. Rumors have this device with loads of different names (Passion/Dragon) and specs, but below you will see its original photos along with updated specs (Editors note: The Passion/Dragon may still be different devices, or just re-branded for CDMA/different networks). [The] Bravo supposedly will follow the same good recipe as the HTC Leo (HD2) and we can say, that if HTC had something in mind about an Android version of the Leo, then Bravo is the one.

Representative of the Performance (and not by chance) category based on HTC’s categorization, it has fantastic style and design, equipped with the killer Snapdragon QSD 8250 1GHz CPU (as in the Leo), HD 720p Video caprure, 3.7″ WVGA AMOLED screen, 256RAM (guess it will be increased to 512Mb accoridng to my latest inside nfo) with 16GB MicroSD card in-box, 1400mAh battery capacity, and HTC Sence of course.  It is certainly what eveybody would like to own, considering that will be loaded with the latest Android OS possible at that time. HTC’s “killer phone” as they call it, will definitely have to compete with SE’s “Rachael” Xperia X10, and time will tell what the results will bring to light. Arriving April 2010.

I realize that’s a lot to digest – HTC’s been busy.  Both the “Legend” and “Bravo” models appeared in the “Leaked Android 2.1 rom” post from a few days ago, but the “Buzz”, “Salsa”, and “Tide” are new names altogether.  So what do you guys think?  Sound off in the comments below as we want to hear all of your thoughts, likes/dislikes, carrier speculation, and which of these models is most likely to end up in your pocket in the coming months.
