Sony Ericsson “Candybar” Android Rumours Put To Rest

Over the last month or so we have been reporting that a second Android would be coming via Sony Ericsson and would be code named “Susan”, see details here and here. Unfortunately these two handsets in the picture will never see Android, instead they swap their names and head for a non-Android (shame) Mobile OS under the name’s of Elm and Hazel. I must admit it would have been kind of fun with the world’s first “Candybar” Android, but one I wouldn’t go out my way to purchase. Oh well, maybe we will see a “Candybar” handset being offered in the near future, because it ain’t happening now.

But if you want an affordable SE Android looks like you’ve got some time to wait. [SE via LeakDroid] [...]
