Android Running on the Sony Ericsson X1

The Sony Ericsson X1 has appeared running Android, Yes Android! The handset that usuall sports the Windows Mobile OS has been pimped to run our favourite mobile OS. We have already seen the HTC Touch HD flaunting Android and now we can catch a glimpse of the X1’s Android offering. We have been waiting forever for the release of the Xperia X10 so it’s nice to see another Sony Ericsson running our OS. In the video below, you can tell it might be a bit stressful trying to operate the resistive touchscreen. It needs a lot of customization and tweaking for any user to be able to run this for every-day use. At the moment this is the closest thing to Android running on a Sony Ericsson that is actually available.
