New Motorola CLIQ XT steps out for an exclusive photo shoot
Fresh into our Inbox this afternoon comes news of an exclusive photo shoot and hands on with the Motorola CLIQ XT over at The Droid Sector. The CLIQ XT is the full-touchscreen half-brother of T-Mobile’s Motorola CLIQ/DEXT, and it looks like Moto has done a pretty good job on the design if you ask me. Sure it’s all bezel’d out, but for what the CLIQ XT is – a mid-range all touch Android smartphone – it’s nice to see that Moto has packed some solid features into it like a 5MP camera with LED flash and optical trackpad (or is that just a huge D-pad?).
MotoBlur fans who didn’t like the O.G. Bobby Johnson CLIQ because of it’s bulk and mediocre keyboard may jump at the chance to spend their days socially-networked on the slimmer and more pocket-able CLIQ XT; further BLUR-ing the lines between status updates and you know, actual reality. The CLIQ XT currently runs Android 1.5 with the promise of being upgraded to 2.1 in the near future, as Motorola puts the finishing touches on their newest version of MotoBlur. The CLIQ XT is set to launch later this month on T-Mobile, so be on the lookout Magenta fans. What do you guys think, anyone fancy having an all touch CLIQ XT in their pocket?
